Turn your email lists into high-performing mailing lists

Email list management is a key deliverability driver, a core activity in Email marketing.
Its objective is to consolidate email lists from different sources (customers, visitors, leads, contacts) and organize them into actionable mailing lists that match your marketing and communication needs.

With nuevoMailer you can build, and manage mailing lists on your own server so your data stays yours and every campaign reaches the right subscribers.

Suppression list

A suppression list (also called a block list or do-not-email list) ensures certain addresses are never mailed, so you avoid accidental sends to these recipients.

Suppress individual emails or entire domains.

Automatic suppression based on bounces or complaints.

Use an opt-out link that suppresses the subscriber (instead of removing them) so you keep a complete history for legal and reporting needs.

Custom subscriber fields

Beyond the email address and a few system fields, you define the subscriber data model to match your needs.

Use text boxes, check-boxes, drop down menus, radio buttons, and date inputs with pop-up calendars to capture richer data.

This enables higher-converting opt-in forms using the built-in form builder.

Collect and import subscriber data exactly the way you want.

Double opt-in

Also called confirmed opt-in, this keeps your lists clean and compliant.

It is a legal requirement in several countries and reduces spam complaints.

Verification at list level means a subscriber can confirm one list without affecting another.

Time and IP are recorded on confirmation, giving you proof of consent.

Manage unverified subscribers, send confirmation reminders, and automate re-confirmation campaigns to maintain list quality.

Many ways to import subscribers and lists

Advanced CSV import with field mapping so you can import the data you want the way you want.
Save your mappings to speed up future imports.

Import from external databases such as MySQL, MariaDB and SQL Server and save connections for repeat use. You can set up a cron job to periodically synchronize mailing lists automatically.

Import a batch of emails via copy-paste.

Opt-out filters during import prevent accidentally re-subscribing people who opted out.

Use the nuevoMailer API: with the API you can add subscribers directly from other websites or external processes.

Opt-in by email: set a mailbox per list and let subscribers opt-in by sending an email. See how it works.

Zapier: since v.8.7 nuevoMailer is on Zapier. Use Zapier to send subscriber details from your systems to your nuevoMailer installation.

Keep your mailing lists clean

Clean lists improve deliverability and protect your sender reputation.

Remove dormant subscribers (never open or click) using a dedicated utility (see how) or advanced search.

Remove emails that bounce or subscribers who complained. You can also suppress these email accounts automatically.

See benefits of processing bounced emails.

When using double opt-in, you can find and remove (or remind) subscribers who never confirmed, keeping lists validated.

Custom landing pages and greeting emails

Custom landing pages and greeting emails let you control the subscriber experience from start to finish.

Define these at Sender profile level so each list or form can have its own experience.

Create "Welcome", "Goodbye", and "Confirmation-required" pages and emails the way you want, or set redirection URLs to your own pages.

Enable or disable "Welcome" and "Goodbye" emails based on your workflow.

Use the built-in Privacy page or link to your own policy for compliance.

Opt-outs management

nuevoMailer offers several types of opt-out links:
  • List opt-out — leave one list, stay on others.
  • Global opt-out — complete removal from everywhere.
  • Subscriber suppression — keep history while blocking sends.
  • Snooze emails — pause emails for a period.
  • Update your account or redirect to the Subscriber portal — change preferences instead of leaving.
  • Update list preferences only.

The HTML editor has a special button to insert these links. You have complete control of the wording, and you can also use images.

Define your own opt-out reasons and ask subscribers why they are leaving. Answers are saved and displayed in your administration panel (see it).

The Snooze option lets subscribers pause emails instead of unsubscribing, which is a great way to retain subscribers. Learn more.

All opt-outs are saved in the opt-outs report in detail.

Opt-outs triggered by the list-unsubscribe header are clearly indicated in your opt-outs report.

When a subscriber opts in via your website form, they are automatically removed from opt-outs data.

During imports you can use opt-out filters to exclude those who opted out in the past.

If you are migrating from other systems, nuevoMailer lets you import subscribers into your opt-outs list to preserve compliance.
